What does the typical schedule include?
We will have keynote talks from morning until evening, on both days. Coffee breaks, lunches, and closing drinks are all included.
Is there a recommended age limit for The Power of Storytelling?
We do our best to be family-friendly and have had participants bring their children to The Power of Storytelling in the past. That said, please note that some keynotes may touch on topics such as war, illness and other difficult subjects. We encourage you to be prepared for this type of content.
I cannot afford the price of this year’s The Power of Storytelling ticket. Is there a way for me to still attend the conference?
We’re committed to making The Power of Storytelling as accessible as possible. If you are a student or early-career journalist dealing with financial constraints, please email us at pos@thepowerofstorytelling.org. We have a few seats set aside, and we’ll be happy to explore options that might make it possible for you to join us!
Can I buy directly from you?
Early bird passes can only be purchased via Eventbook. For the 2026 edition, they are already sold out.
The first regular passes go on sale on November 17 at 2:00 PM Bucharest time, and can be purchased via Eventbook. Among them we’ll have a limited number of passes that you can buy directly from us, for groups of 5 to 10 people. Please email us at pos@thepowerofstorytelling.org for details on invoicing.
Do you offer group discounts?
We currently don’t offer group discounts.
I can’t attend both conference days. Can I purchase a one-day pass instead?
We don’t offer one-day passes. The Power of Storytelling is carefully curated to be enjoyed over both days, and we’d love for you to experience the full journey with us.
I bought a pass but can no longer attend. Can I get a refund or send a friend instead?
Registration fees are only refundable until February 1, 2026. From then on, you can transfer your spot to a friend by March 1, 2026 at the latest. Please drop us a line with their name at pos@thepowerofstorytelling.org so we can prepare a personalized badge for them.
No other refunds or changing requests can be accommodated afterwards.
Do you cover expenses for people traveling from outside of Bucharest?
Unfortunately, we cannot cover travel or accommodation expenses, but we’re always happy to recommend affordable options.
Can you recommend places to stay in Bucharest?
If you’re visiting us from outside of Bucharest, we’ve put together a few accommodation recommendations, both near the conference location (Hotel Caro, Courtyard Bucharest Floreasca, Crystal Palace), and closer to the city center (Mercure Hotels, Moxy Hotels, Park Inn Radisson, Novotel).
I have a disability that requires specific adaptations. Can I attend the conference?
Please email us at pos@thepowerofstorytelling.org to let us know about your specific needs, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
I’d like to support The Power of Storytelling. How can I do it?
We’d love to hear from you! Please email us at pos@thepowerofstorytelling.org, and we will discuss how you can support our mission.
